MOVING ON...

The time has come for us to leave Jackson, Michigan. We spent our final week packing up and cleaning our apartment and headed out Sunday evening. We are so thankful to the Lord for bringing us here to study His word. It has truly been an awesome time. It was so weird leaving this place. It seemed like just yesterday that we pulled into the parking lot to get all signed up to start school. We cannot express enough how we have just loved this place.. the staff was amazing (they knew our names the moment we walked in the door)... the people were excited about the Lord... and the classes were incredible. This is the only place we have known as a married couple and now we will be headed to Canada excited to see what is in store for us there!
HERE ARE SOME PICTURES OF OUR LAST WEEKA few Staff and Students help David move our things downSomebody was slacking on the JobThe Amazing children's program that we had the priviledge of being a part of at the Church we attended during our time in Jackson... Another rough place to say goodbye to. We met some great people here and truly enjoyed being a part of their ministry!

So all that to say.. it was a pretty rough week of packing and lots of sad goodbye's. But, we are amazed to look back and see all the neat places the Lord has brought us and are anxious to move ahead to what He has for us next!

Our New Little Guy!!

After a crazy day and a half and finding out that I was going to be induced we finally got to meet our newest family member!!! On Wednesday June 25th I went in for my regular doctors appointment, not expecting anything exciting. The midwife checked my blood pressure which was really high. She told us she was sending us up to labor and delivery to get some tests done and said we probably wont be back without a baby! Wow, not what we were expecting to hear that day. We went up and got some tests done and my blood pressure finally calmed down, so they ended up sending me home that day on bed rest and scheduled me to be induced the next morning.
At 6:30 the next day we head in to labor and delivery. Everything thing went really smooth with the labor and the delivery until the baby finally came. We had some complications with too much bleeding at the end and they had to take me down to fix me up. It was about 4 hours until the 3 of us were finally together again. Praise the Lord though, everything ended well and we have a healthy baby! We loved our experience here at the hospital in Jackson and were able to have lots of visitors during our stay there with David's family living only an hour away and my family was able to be out there since we knew what day he would be born! We are excited to be home now though, and trying to adjust to our new little guy and hoping he will adjust to getting some sleep at night time!

Graduation

Back in May we finished up our two years here in Jackson at New Tribes Bible Institute! We are so thankful for the amazing time we have had here! Our 2 years went by so quickly and although it was sad to see them come to an end with all the great things we had learned and saying goodbye to friends that we made, we are excited to move on to the training in Canada!
